Why does this matter?
- Ride-sharing offers a multitude of benefits, including cost savings on transportation, reduced traffic congestion, and a positive impact on the environment.
By encouraging carpooling and shared rides, ride-sharing will contribute to the overall sustainability of transportation at Freezer Burn.
How does it work?
- Check the map to see if there’s someone nearby or on the way to Freezer Burn that might be offering a ride. Similarly, you can see if anyone needs a ride on your route to Freezer Burn.
- If none are available, create a post indicating that you’re looking for a ride and what the potential driver should know. If you’re offering a ride, let them know how many seats you have available, how much space you have for cargo and other rules you may have.
- To ensure a positive ride-sharing experience, both passengers and drivers should prioritize clear communication, respect each others time and personal space. Additionally, being friendly and considerate goes a long way in creating a pleasant ride for everyone involved.

To offer a ride, simply click on the “Add a Trip” button and fill out the details. You may need to quickly verify your email address.

And if you’re looking for a ride and do see one already available, click on the “Create an Alert” button to get notified when a near you becomes available.
Do you need an account to use this?
- NOPE! That’s entirely optional.
How many people can catch a ride in one vehicle and will it have room for my stuff?
- That depends on who you catch a ride with. If the person offering the ride doesn’t clarify this in their post, you can just ask them!
Why is this better than just using Facebook/Meta?
- You can easily see on the app where existing ride-offers or ride-share requests are located. No more combing through Facebook group posts or having your post quickly vanish as other posts show up.
