Role Purpose

With the goal of reducing car traffic to and from Freezer Burn and encouraging alternative transportation, the Burner Express program will offer a bus travel option for Participants to attend the event. This will probably be based on the Burning Man Project’s Burner Express Bus program that has operated buses since 2013 from San Francisco and Reno, transporting thousands of participants into and out of Black Rock City. Skip the traffic and get ready to ride your way into Black Rock City!

Co-leading this project with Tommity, you’ll help develop and implement this service.

Time Commitment

</aside>

• Year round: 1-2 hours per month
• On site: Unknown at this time but ideally, a maximum of 1 hour per day (if we use a private charter bus with a paid driver.)

Co-led by the Greener Burn Program Manager (Tommity) and supported by our passionate Greener Burn Projects Team, you’ll work with us to help develop and implement the Burner Express Bus service, which will involve:

• Researching the Burning Man Projects Burner Express Bus program and determining how best to adapt it to the Freezer Burn context
